A 60-day journey through the Australian Coast was terminated in the wake of the tragic passing of an older lady who was stranded by the vessel on a distant tropical isle.

The passenger had been trekking on the remote island with other travelers from the Coral Adventurer, but parted ways from the excursion for a pause. The vessel left without her and went back after some time after the ship staff became aware the passenger was missing.

A major hunt located her remains the following day.

Authorities are investigating the tragedy, together with investigators and the official investigator.

Chief Executive of the shipping company stated that guests and staff on the Coral Adventurer were informed that the continuation of the voyage had been cancelled due to the "sad loss and earlier technical problems".
